JINzakaya introduces affordable set lunches in its latest menu launch

After months of creating, tasting and fine-tuning the menu, fans of the retro-chic JINzakaya can now look forward to a spanking new selection of fresh additions and refined versions of old favourites.

Fusing the traditional flavours of popular izakaya fare with our chefs’ creative reinvention that caters to modern-day taste preferences, the revamped menu promises an expanded selection of yakimono (grilled dishes), donburi (Japanese rice bowls), noodles, and most of all – the brand new introduction of 13 delectable lunch sets.

Hungry souls in search of a pocket-friendly option for a quick lunch fix would be pleased to know that JINzakaya’s new lunch sets are packed both with great flavor and value. The lunch sets flaunt a wide variety of comprehensive offerings, where diners can select from an assortment of rice and noodle mains, complete with an appetizer, a soup, sides and a dessert to pair. Choose to have a bit of everything with the Makunouchi Bento ($24), a sumptuous bento consisting of sashimi, grilled chicken, ebi tempura, egg, yam, pickles and rice. Lunch sets are priced from $15.00 – $25.00, and are available for both dine-in and takeaway.

Peperoni Pizzeria Kids Pizza Making Party

Make your kid’s birthday an unforgettable and fun-filled one by treating them to a pizza party – not one where they just eat the pizza, but also try their hand at making it! Peperoni Pizzeria has most recently rolled out a Kids Birthday Party Package, which allows kids and their friends to become chefs for a day as they learn the craft of pizza and mocktail making from the resident chefs at Peperoni.

Introducing a Taste of Singapore in New York

It was a dazzling night in New York’s iconic Rainbow Room at the James Beard Foundation’s 30th anniversary gala dinner. This year’s theme, Singapore’s Culinary Crossroads, saw a presentation of culinary delights from various cultures, created by some of Singapore’s and America’s finest chefs.

Tarte by Cheryl Koh is most honoured to have the opportunity to represent Singapore in this international gastronomic gathering, which featured some of Singapore’s and America’s finest chefs.
Chef Cheryl and her team presented a dessert lounge filled with sweet treats inspired by and infused with the local flavours of Singapore; including Chef Cheryl’s signature artisanal French tarts in coconut-pandan Kaya flavour, “soft-boiled” chocolate eggs filled with pineapple-Cointreau and limegin jelly, cracked into a glass of Singapore Sling cocktail, Teh Halia chocolate bonbons, nasi lemak cookies and many more.

Vietnamese Cuisine Taken Up a Notch with Di Mai

Set in the heart of bustling Ho Chi Minh City, at the base of Ben Thanh Tower, Les Amis Group’s latest concept, Di Mai (translated “Aunty Mai”) offers diners a respite from the hectic streets of Vietnam, by transporting them into a whole new world, where vintage-nostalgia meets modernity.

From the iconic and refurbished Xe lam (commonly known as Tuk Tuks) cashier counter which is attached to a communal dining table, the crockery and sauces that peppers the shelves, to the large
open kitchen, Di Mai is a visual feast that will keep diners captivated throughout their meal. Crafted from traditional recipes prepared around Vietnam, Di Mai offers a well-curated menu that
blends Vietnamese Street Food with home-style cooking, which is bound to leave you leave you craving for more.

Di Mai has certainly found her place in the hearts and minds of Ho Chi Minh and their diners.
