ESCAPE FROM THE CITY

Surrounded by the verdant nature of Singapore Botanic Gardens, Casa Verde offers a relaxing and welcoming respite from the usual city bustle.

For those who would like to have a picnic on the lush greenery of Botanic Gardens, enjoy 1-for-1 Pizzas exclusively for takeaway orders. After all, as the saying goes, good things come in pairs!

Lazy to pack for a picnic? Casa Verde offers picnic basket ($60, exclusive of a $30 refundable deposit for return of the basket) consisting of a picnic mat, utensils and other outdoor essentials alongside sweet and savoury goodies.

A NEW CHAPTER AHEAD FOR LA STRADA

La Strada is about to shake things up by making some significant changes to the ristorante!

Not one to rest on the laurels, our team is constantly working on ways to enhance the dining experience of our guest. The restaurant will be closed for renovations for two months (starting from 1 January 2018), and will emerge with a modern and sleek outlook, while retaining her usual charm. Our team will also embark on a gastronomical adventure in Italy to seek for interesting recipes and flavours that will be incorporated into our menu.

New Menu Launch at Peperoni Pizzeria

This November, after months of fine-tuning our menu, Peperoni Pizzeria unveils 20 spanking new dishes which go beyond classic Italian fare. With two new sections added to their menu – Wood-fired Oven and The Grill – together with tweaks made to popular classics, a trip to Peperoni is definitely worth a visit.

From hearty portions of Baked Seafood Mix, Braised Shortrib, and Chilli Crab Pizza, to lighter options such as the Peperoni Burrata and Kale & Prawn salads, there is something for everyone at Peperoni Pizzeria.

Tarte x Singapore: Inside Out Sydney 2017

From 3 to 5 November, Tarte by Cheryl Koh was invited by Singapore Tourism Board to participate in Singapore: Inside Out Sydney 2017, where the team rubbed shoulders with some of Singapore’s and Sydney’s finest chefs to create unique and exquisite desserts.

Chef Cheryl and her team created three lovely desserts which were inspired by popular local flavours that wowed guests. One example would be her signature artisanal French tarts in an exclusive Milo and Chocolate flavour.

New Concept at Shaw Centre

Bidding to the calls for tastier, healthier and fresher options in today’s fast-paced society, NamNam GO! is set to make a difference. Located at the office tower lobby of Shaw Centre, the 4-seat to-go concept aims to raise the bar of quick and fresh food with the menu comprising of banh mis, chilled noodles, refreshing salads, soft serves, pastries, and beverages!

Scrumptious additions to Bistro Du Vin’s menu

Ever since Bistro Du Vin’s revamp earlier this year featuring a modern look, a new chef and menu; fans of the authentic French bistro experience have been spotted coming back for more of Chef Laurent’s mouth-watering French fare. In appreciation for everyone’s overwhelming support, and in the spirit of keeping things fresh, the Bistro Du Vin team have been working extra hard the past few weeks to put together a refreshed menu filled with novel, tantalising options that is sure to whet your appetites!

We won’t spoil the surprise, but some here are some of the new menu items that guests can look forward to – baked Burgundy escargots with garlic herbs butter, pan seared scallops with green peas, chicken stewed in apple … and many more.

Sweet seasonal delights

Those who have tried Chef Cheryl’s artisanal French tarts would know that it is often hard to stop at just one. This season, delight in the popular fig tart, made with solliès figs, which are often hailed as one of the top fig varieties in France. Those who like plums can opt for the Mirabelle De Nancy, which features baked Mirabelle plums atop a delectable layer of almond cream. For a baked treat, the Pâté Aux Prune Angevin, a traditional Reine Claude plum tart from Anjou, is sure to satisfy.
